Technical Requirements
To print our products , you must give us the photolithograph systems (printing films) following the instructions below, or you can send to us the systems in digital format.
MOUSE PADS
4 COLOURS OFFSET PRINTING FILMS
- Films for 4 colours offset printing (CMYK).
- Screen 60 line/cm².
- Straight gelatine (as printing on paper).
- Films must have a 3 mm abundance for each side and angles must not be reproduced.
- The drawing or the photograph can cover the entire surface of the pad, but the inscriptions or the lines must not reach the edges, which must be 5 mm less than the die-cutting edge.
- The Pantone colours must be changed into 4 colour process.
- Together with the films, you must send to us the CHROMALIN (colour testing). No material forwarded will count as colour testing, except the CHROMALIN; therefore, during the printing phase, we will only make reference to the CHROMALIN.
- If you send to us the printing films, there won't be any additional charges for the system (see below SENDING OF DIGITAL FORMAT SYSTEMS).
SERIGRAPHY PRINTING FILMS
- Points 3,4,5,8 are also valid for offset printing.
- In serigraphy you can’t print images, photographs, stressed shades and perfect registers.
- For the mouse pad model SHINY, we can’t do any type of reticulation, because of the special features of the material.
- Regarding other mouse pad models, the possible reticulation depends on the type of drawing. We suggest you to send us a JPEG or a PDF file of the drawing that you would like to print, so that we can inform you if such a printing is possible or not.
- As regards the transparent mouse pad model SHINY, because of the difficulty of printing of the material, we suggest you to let us develop your films (see below SENDING OF DIGITAL FORMAT SYSTEMS)
SENDING OF DIGITAL FORMAT SYSTEMS
- There is an additional cost for the development of printing systems.
- For the realisation of the graphic file, you must follow the indications above mentioned, according to the type of printing (offset or serigraphy). Therefore it is very important that you give the indications above mentioned to the designer who will realise the file.
- Image file format: TIF.
- Image minimum resolution: 300dpi.
- Files must be realised with the following programs: Illustrator 8, PhotoShop 7, Xpress 4, Freehand 10.
- File can be forwarded as e-mail attachments or on CD, ZIP OMEGA or Floppy Disc. We suggest you to send us copies of the hard support (CD or Floppy Disk) because we will not give you back the files.
- Together with the file you must send us a printing of the drawing via fax or with the hard support.
LANYARDS / BAGSTRAP / Keyholder ALPINISMO
SUPERIOR MODEL, TUBOLAR STRAP MODEL
- Vectorial format file ( .EPS .CDR. AI. .FH10 ) containing the logo or the inscription which must be reproduced on the strap, together with some examples of repetition. Enclose also a JPEG or PDF file in order to check it.
- Specify the Pantone colours of the logo or - inscription and of the strap.
- You must send us executable files ready for the printing. We don’t do works of graphic composition.
- If any change should be done on the forwarded file, we will advise you about the incidental cost of the graphic change.
FASHION MODEL
- We need a JPEG file containing the logo or the inscription which must be reproduced on the strap, together with some examples of repetition.
- In the order, you must specify the required distance for the repetition between one inscription or logo and the other.
- Specify the Pantone colours of the logo or – inscription and of the strap.
- The embroidered strap allows the realisation of simple inscriptions and logos; we can’t assure you the precision of fonts or logos. Yarns are already dyed, therefore we will use the yarn that is more similar to the Pantone colour which is given to us as reference.
- If any change should be done on the forwarded file, we will advise you about the incidental cost of the graphic change.
EMBROIDERED TUBOLAR STRAP MODEL
- We need a JPEG file containing the inscription which must be reproduced on the strap, together with some examples of repetition.
- In the order, you must specify the required distance for the repetition between one inscription and the other.
- Specify the Pantone colours of the logo and of the strap.
- The embroidered strap allows the realisation of inscriptions; we can’t assure you the precision of fonts. Yarns are already dyed, therefore we will use the yarn that is more similar to the Pantone colour which is given to us as reference.
